Emory Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist/ General Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology team minutes from the airport in South Atlanta.
Highly respected and recognized, well established, cardiovascular group looking to add an additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist/non-invasive Cardiologists to join in their successful cardiology practice in South Atlanta.
The practice has several offices located in South Atlanta, most of which have completed nuclear, vascular and echocardiography labs. Using our comprehensive and state-of-the-art equipment, you can provide your patients the full spectrum of cardiology and vascular patient care, including both non-invasive and invasive treatment, diagnostic cardiology, vascular testing and vascular surgery
This is a unique opportunity to help grow a community-based cardiovascular program with full integration into the nationally recognized Emory Healthcare system. This position combines the best of both worlds—hands-on clinical practice and the resources of one of the Southeast’s most distinguished academic medical centers.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing. Attend to the medical needs of all patients by performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees. Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
